When creating a layout, alignment of overlays within it can be tricky. This is especially true if using 3x1 monitor setup without (surround mode) just seperate screens. I have setup layout many times with different screen configurations, different resolutions and different screen sizes. The width and height is easy, as the main figure used is the height and width of the largest screen.
So my idea is to have a GRID of horizontal and vertical lines, that preferably could light up acroos the preview window, so new overlays can be easily aligned with overlays already seen in the preview window. An added thing to this would be is the gap between the grid of lines could be adjusted by user, by entering a pixel number. We dont all need perfet align
mnet, but I feel this would be helpful in some cases. Tell me what you think, and up vote if you like the idea.. Cheers Scottozy
