Currently Racelab does not have a backup system.
What is means is that if you forgot to create a manual backup of some essential racelab files, all your settings (overlay settings, layouts, tagged drivers, etc..) will be lost.

What this feature would bring to the table is:

automatic backup for every settings
sync settings to other computers if you're using racelab on other pc as well

While we wait for this feature, what files should we manually backup so we don't lose our settings and overlay configs?

@racelab938 Good question, here is what you need at the moment:

Documents/Racelabapps entire folder
%appdata%/racelabapps/user-preferences_v5.json file

That's all you need to have a full backup.

i just saw tihs.
maybe a "BACK" button like "CTRL-Z" in the editor would be awesome :D i miss clicked a few times and had to reconfigure the overlay which I accidentally deleted
