Radar overlay

Hi RaceLab team, I’ve been trying RaceLab with iRacing and wanted to give you some feedback on the radar functionality. I’m interested in the paid Radar feature, and I’m generally happy to pay for software that genuinely improves the driving experience. My hesitation is that I prefer to properly try a feature before committing to another subscription. At the moment, the free radar hasn’t given me much confidence in what the premium version might be like. When another car gets close, I often just see a large yellow circular glow around my car, which makes it difficult to understand where the other car actually is or how much overlap there is. From a driver’s perspective, it feels more like a proximity warning than a useful radar. I understand that the paid Radar Bars are a different feature and may solve exactly this problem, but because they’re locked behind the subscription there isn’t really a way for me to find out whether they suit me before paying. I thought it was worth mentioning, because I suspect I’m probably not the only potential subscriber who would be more comfortable paying after having the opportunity to properly experience the premium overlays first.
